Custom Power Tool (CPT)

Custom Power Tool (CPT)

CPT is comprised of 2 parts:
  1. A program to create ticket layouts via a layout manager (Windows only)
  2. Libraries and sample code to integrate the printing functions (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android)
How it works:
  1. Using the CPT Layout Manager, you can create a new ticket by clicking on "File | New".
  2. A new folder based on the name of your project, will be created in your "Documents" folder.
  3. All files in this folder will create the ticket 'project'.
  4. The CPT libraries can then be embedded in an application to load the ticket project and populate it with data.

The packages can be downloaded here
  • CPT_Android_XXX.zip (Android Library and Demo)
  • CPT_iOS_XXX.zip (iOS Library and Demo)
  • CPT_Linux_XXX.tgz (Linux Library and Demo)
  • CPT_WindowsGUI_XXX.zip (Windows Ticket Designer)
  • CPT_WindowsLIB_XXX.zip (Windows Library and Designer)

CPT - Windows
In folder "CPT - Windows\Custom Power Tools - Layout manager"
Run "setup.exe"
This will install the CPT Layout Manager

In folder "CPT - Windows\Custom Power Tools - Libraries and examples"
Run "setup.exe"
This will install SW components (DLL) and sample codes useful for integrating CPT into an existing application

In order to run a demo, you can use the "Print" function from the layout manager.

CPT - Android
Save file "DemoCPTApi.apk" that's in "CPT - Android\Custom Power Tools - Demo APP" into device storage
Using a file manager, create a folder called "CustomXml" on the root of the SD Card
Copy all ticket projects (the "CustomXmlPrint" folders) inside the "CustomXml" folder
Using a file manager run the "DemoCPTApi.apk" to install the demo APP
Run the demo APP. This app will let you load the ticket project saved in "CustomXml" folder

In folder "CPT - Android\Custom Power Tools - Libraries and examples" there's the library file and sample code for programmers.
